Man, I really miss Saipan, my grandpa was Froilan Tenorio, in which we stayed. I wish I could head back.=(
I can see how people who have lived there would delight in seeing the ancient turf…. but its not that attractive, really. Probably the best thing about the place was that it was somewhat isolated from the garbage of modern society…. but a guy who lived there told me the locals have fallen like sheep…. into illegal drugs.
OMG MEMORIES!!! i miss Saipan!
Dear Sir, I stayed in Saipan for 3 years. I am now in Beijing, China. I always recall Saipan from time to time. Your video brings me back there. UIC, Sunleader, Immigration Building are all so familiar to me. Something deep in my heart has been touched when viewing the video. Thank you so much. Hope you can take more video of Saipan. Like middle road, memorial park, Capital hill and so on.
Nice video. You show a bit of Chalan Piao on the drive, as well. This video was taken when there were more garment workers in San Antonio. UIC has since closed, as well as some other factories in the area.
