Is Roy Keane Achievments At Sunderland The Vindication Odf His Comments At The Now Infamous Saipan Incident?

He pronounced to Mick McCarthy,
“I didnt rate we as the player as well as we dont rate we as the manager”
This was borne out of disappointment of the Irish National Team set-up. Could it be probable which he could right away contend which he was the improved physical education instructor as well as is achieving some-more as the physical education instructor in the shorter space of time? Or has he only had some-more investment as well as the bit of luck?

your a bit too early to judge roy keane just yet. the other way of looking at saipan was he left the Irish team in the crapper.
lets see what he achieves in 5 seasons time before we raise him up to Messiah standard.
there was a lot wrong with a fai at the time but keane did show a lack of respect to his team mates by doing what he did at the time. he still has a chip on his sholder with the fai to this day which was shown on his recent remarks about laim miller not being picked because he was from cork.(load of crap).

no matter what keane achieves as a manager the fact remains he walked out on his country and team mates and can never be “vindicated” or forgiven for what was a selfish, arrogant and childish thing to do. mc carthy for all his faults had the best interests of the national side to consider and to my mind will allways be able to hold the moral high ground.

I think Roy would stick with the above quote. Why lie, he didnt like him as a player and he didnt like him as a manager, this is grown up stuff, he felt it, he told him.

I do think that Roy Keane has worked a miracle in getting Sunderland to the top, he has had the board with him and thats important and there’s nothing wrong with that.
However, if they get into the Premiership which I think they will, I feel that will be his first real test. It’s too early to call, we’re going to have to wait and see how he goes in the Premiership. If he can get them into the Premiership and survive in it, then yes he can talk.
Mick McCarthy never looked like he fought for Sunderland to survive in the Premiership, he saw it as an opportunity to enjoy the EPL while it lasted. Even some of his comments to the media surely wouldn’t have been welcomed by the Sunderland supporters.
LOL, the guy below me who literally misquoted me should put on his reading glasses. I typed “I do think that Roy keane has worked a mircale”…NOT “I don’t think”.

keano was right. mccarthy was hopeless.
and look at the fortunes of sunderland when keane took the reigns from mccarthy.
the black cats will have a huge fallout from the premiership.

Quote “I don’t think Roy Keane has worked a miracle at Sunderland” unquote.Where have you been? They were up the creek without a paddle, going into League 1 for certain &
yes I think it does justify his criticism of Mick.

  7. thevoice says:

Well done Roy and good luck to Mick with Wolves.BUT one season dose not make a good manager ,it’s a long hard road as Mick will tell you ,nothing comes on a plate in football ,you must of seen them (many managers) rise and fall
