AGO upholds COLA Relief Act

THE retirees who are owed their cost of living allowances are entitled to promissory notes for the amounts due them, according to the Attorney General’s Office, citing the COLA Relief Act that mandates such payments. But, the AGO said COLA recipients cannot recover the same amounts twice.
