DHS to Issue Statement on Umbrella Permits

January 31, 2010 There was a small blurb in the January 29, 2010 issue of the Marianas Variety hinting that the Department of Homeland Security would be issuing a statement to clarify the legal standing on umbrella permits. Reportedly USCIS field office director Walter Haith said the statement would be issued within a few weeks.
