THE austerity bill, once passed, is for the remaining two months of the current fiscal year  2010 but  it will remain in effect in FY 2011, according the House Ways and Means Chairman Ramon S. Basa.

SEVEN of the 10 nurses at the Rota Health Center have questioned for food help from the Philippine Consulate General Office, welfare officer Rey Tayag said yesterday.

The nurses, who were hired by the center through the Saipan Employment Agency & Services, stopped working starting on July 7 due to a lack of contract or over their delayed salaries.
